How to Contribute Stock to an AMA in a DAF
If you intend to initiate an in-kind contribution of publicly traded securities to an Advisor Managed Account with The Signatry please read the following instructions.
If you or your financial advisor has initiated a transfer of publicly traded securities to The Signatry to be journaled in-kind, your financial advisor must send them directly to your Advisor Managed Account, not The Signatry’s main stock liquidation account.
An Advisor Managed Account is a custodial account that has been approved by The Signatry to invest a portion of the fund’s balance and be managed by a financial advisor recommended by the donor.
Please use the stock contribution notification form in order for our Investments team to recognize and review this in-kind stock contribution.

You will need to input the last four of your AMA account number in the form.
Please reach out to your advisor if you have further questions about this process or need help initiating the transfer.
Note: The financial institution holding the securities may require the use of its own form or letter of instruction. Please check with the firm to see what additional forms they require. If the securities are not transferrable, notify The Signatry that the intended gift will not be completed.
The contributor(s) designated within this form will receive email communication once a transfer is completed.

Please note that you must have email notifications for "Contribution Notifications” and then “Contribution - Stock Gift Received” turned on in order to receive these emails. Follow the instructions in this help article to find where to turn these on: https://help.thesignatry.com/change-email-preferences
